No - not heard anything from the for 8 days now, I posted their latest reply in the other thread, but here's a copy of their reply again :-
A bluetooth earpeace is making use of the 'Blueototh Headset protocol' while the GO comminicates with the phone via the (Bluetoot h HandsFree protocol) because it also needs to tell the phone which numbers to dial etc.
We were able to reproduce the problem you described, but to find out whether it is the N70 that has problems after being connected to a Bluetooth HandsFree device or if the GO causes the problem, we need to test this with another Hands Free kit that makes use of the same 'Bluetooth HandsFree protocol'.
Our Test and Development teams are still investigating the problem, but until we have found out what is the reason for that problem there is nothing we can do (except exchanging the unit) but to ask you to use the workaround you found out yourself, which is to disable Bluetooth on the GO to disconnect from the phone.
With best regards,
The TomTom Customer Support Team |

Had another reply from tomtom today :-
Quote: | Dear sir,
We are still in the middle of testing which is always a very time consuming process, especially now that we are about to release new devices. If the problem turns out to be caused by our software we are of course eager to solve it. As mentioned before, we will contact you as soon as we are able to provide a solution.
With best regards,
TomTom Support Team |

Well lets just hope the Nokia N70 will be compatible with the new range cos it will be a major disappointment if it doesnt. |

surely if tomtom managed to make it compatible with the old range they can do the same with the new? If some of those older phones can work with the new range I don't see why a phone like the N70 with the latest firmware couldn't work either. |

Yes you'd expect it to be ok, but then again the N70 is not 100% compatable the the present range |

I'm sure it will be made compatible with the new range once they get released. |
