Initially I thought it was just a web site update, but no they have been removed and some suppliers are no longer listing them.
Expected shipping date has slipped to mid May so whats happening or is it just us UK customers being stitched again ? |

I guess....we're always the last to get everything. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't get released til the end of the year. |

If you select the Netherlands in the top right hand corner of the TomTom WEB site the new range is still listed along with all the accessories including the TMC unit.
Looks like I'll be purchasing my unit from the Netherlands... |

I'm surprised no moderator has responded to this.
TT are just about the biggest manufacturer of GPS devices and this website does devote a lot of space to their stuff, recently covering the announcement of the new range - so I would have thought they might have been curious about why the entire new range has been removed from the TT UK website
Is there a moderator out there who has any info |

We haven't been told of any change in the planned shipping dates, still scheduled to be available early May.
We now have our early samples for testing although not for review. _________________ Darren Griffin |

There something very strange going on with the TomTom WEB site:-
Uk Site shows no details of the new range.
Netherlands, Shows the new range and price, the accessoriesare shown but no prices.
US, Shows the new range but no prices, also shows the accessories and the prices.
The RDS receiver is $60 which is £33 a lot lower than the euro price that has been suggested. |

When will you be able to provide a review then? _________________ Creator of the Bright & Vivid scheme available through HOME.

When we receive a review unit, the units we have are pre-production and we are not permitted to use them as the basis of a review. I understand a review unit will be with us soon. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Don't forget the some of the cost is for the TMC Licence where one is required. The UK has no public access TMC service unlike the US so the TMC Licence adds to the total cost. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Mid May for the new range to ship is looking even more unlikely if TomTom are still shipping pre production units for review. June/July seems more realistic and probably explains why they have been removed from the WEB site. |

Tomtom seem to use a different calender from the rest of planet and timescales are subject to change whenever they feel like it. Theres no malice or rip off Britain in it its just Tomtom.
