I don't know anything about this product, but it is made by HolOx and NOT HolUx. Different manufacturer.

GPSlim 236 highly recommended. The battery life is very good (genuine 10 hours) and you can buy a replacement battery if ever you need one (or if you want to carry a fully charged spare with you)
I have a 12V socket in the boot of my car, so I leave mine in there permanently plugged in. The bluetooth signal is strong enough for me to pick it up in the house when the car is parked outside! In the boot, the GPSlim 236 can nearly always see 8 or 9 satellites
Make sure you buy a fairly recent one - the firmware on models prior to about Nov 2005 caused the TTFF to increase over time to an unacceptable level. My serial number is 54900002 and it's fine. You'll find references in this forum

Cracking piece of kit. Fast cold start aquisition and excellent reciever even indoors. One of the best I've seen. |
