I have a ICN 520 and am just wondering if each POI is limited to 99 points as today I tried to install software for 7 digit postcodes but the 2 files I was installing only showed 99 entries in each file. I have checked other POI's on it and there don't seem to be any that are over 99. Thanks for any replies. |

It's a buffer limitation that only shows the nearest locations to a given point. _________________ Richard

So does that prevent it from working with the likes of the postcode software? I can look at the map and it has the symbols in all areasfor the postcodes and if you show the details of the symbols they have the full postcodes assigned but you cannot navigate right to the code. I take it they would need to be split up into seperate files of 99 points for this to work correctly? |

No they are probably all there. If you look at the first letter of the last listed POI in your 99, then begin to type in using the next letter in alphabetical order you will get more listed and so on.
