In the old, understandable format of this site I was able to find the all camera database in CSV format which my wife's Navman was happy with.
So far I have spent 2 hours trying to convert the (apparently) only file now shown as available for the Navman which is NOT a CSV file but an asc file, into a proper CSV file which the Navman will accept. I can not seem to do it as it is all in one lump as opposed to the required three separate columns.
Can someone please tell me how to navigate to the appropriate CSV file so I can load it in.
I am finding the site VERY frustrating and difficult to navigate through with any level of success. _________________ Regards,

Alistair, try using the asc file it will work with Navman units and doesn't require editting, if you don't have the original file you downloaded in the same condition as it was, download it again - Mike |

How are you opening the asc file? If you open it with notepad ( or other text editor) you'll find it is the form Code: | ;Longitude,Latitude,Name
-x.xxxxxx,yy.yyyyyy,"GATSO:1@40" |
If you rename it to have ".csv" extention you'll find Excel will open it ok _________________ J. |

Thans to all. It worked today?? Yesterday her Navman kept telling me it was an unknown file format. Today it quietly accepted the self same file.
So thanks to you all and I really don't know what was going wrong yesterday. _________________ Regards,
