I have the latest tomtom 500 and downloaded the speed camera database. I get the voice warning with the gatso cameras however mobile camera zones only show up on the map and I can't seem to get a voice warning with it.
Any ideas

Have you configured the mobile cameras in the warn when near POI in preferences/ manage POI ? - try using the test button to listen to the audio prompts when selecting the spoken alerts, note there are only 15 individual warnings available using the default settings if you want to increase this to 30 take a look at POIExtend located at www.tomtomsatnav.info Mike
Edit once to change spelling (thanks Richard) ,

I configured the voice prompts, checked the box marked warn when on route and again unchecked it, still doesn't warn me. I have version 5.410, would this make any difference?
Cheers for your advice though. |
