Has anybody seen one of these before,I would have prefered to put a photo up if it was possible. It is about half the size of a road side light with an arm across, on the left hand side of the arm is a cone shaped what looks like a pot insulater, on the righthand side are two cameras facing the road,at the side of the cameras is a what appears to be some type of sensor this is facing about 45 degrees from the two cameras. |

If you can say where it is, perhaps someone can go and have a look at it.;) _________________ Richard

They were putting up something similar on the A249 (I think that is the number) onto the Isle of Sheppey in Kent a couple of weeks ago. Looked like some sort of specs system as there were several of them - all the way from the A2 roundabout to the new bridge. _________________ Peter

Yes, that's the right - A249.
The cameras could be to watch for the natives escaping the Island. :P
I may have to go there in the week, if I do I'll check them out. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
