|
|
Hello there
Had the i3 a while now, very pleased with it, apart from the annoying speed camera bongs (what do they all mean!)
Anyway can somebody tell me, in a step by step way how to achieve the following. (I have looked through the forums but all the posts just say thinks like "you can do it" or "it's easy to do", but don't explain how to)
I would like the i3 to bong once when I approach a speed camera, and thats it, I will make the decesion as to the speed I want to go etc. ( I would like the icon will to still appear on the screen until I pass the camera and the red info bar at the top etc) just no more irritating bongs going on and on and on.
Many thanks for any help with this |

Yes I appreciate that
But it often bongs where I know for a fact the camera is not on my route (ie i'm going under a motorway bridge say north to south and the camera is on the bridge facing east to west) so it will not have any affect on me.
Or
if the camera is ponting in the other direction to my direction of travel,
Or
I am doing 71 in a 70, and it bongs for ages and ages, the camera is not going to activate at that speed.
Or
I am going through road works and there are 16 sets of cameras (on both sides of the road) and the noises drive me nuts because I am 3 mph over the speed limit.
I know I could slow down, but that is my decesion to make once I have been alerted of the danger don't you think.
Is it too mucch to ask, one bong then let me decide! |

as said before this topic has been covered plenty of times.
so for the last
open the camera database in excel, locate the @speed for each camera and replace speed with a 0 or delete the @ and add a double space.
ie @30 change to @0 or @30 to 30
