Have you set up the Microphone to use the Tom Tom Built in one or the external one?
I had this problem for a short while and decided to buy the exteranl mic which doesnt sound too bad but still a bit distant.
As for the caller ID thats up to the phone to send it, sometime it works and others it doesnt but more often doesnt in the times that I have used mine to make calls I think I have only had it display the name a few times. _________________ TomTom 300
