Had a couple of calls to make in Manchester and TT5 worked fine on the first 2 and plotted the 3rd route OK but stopped giving voice directions, turns were showing on the map.
After that I set to navigate 'home' and checked that I had not turned voice prompts off and volume levels etc., sound worked OK on volume test but still no voice directions on trip home.
I have tried checking everything again and all seems as usual, any sugestions ? |

Is the unit still doing this? if so try soft resetting the device, if this doesn't cure the fault try another voice - Mike |

This happened to me several times. Under preferences/ speed preferences (hope I have remembered this correctly as I have not got it here at the moment) I found the problem, since I disabled the vary volume with speed option the problem has not re-occurred. |

I didn't get to try the "vary volume with speed" sugestion but will try and remember it if it happens again, changing voices did not work though the voices worked on the 'test' option.
A reinstall of TT5 did not help and I finally resorted to a hard re-set and reinstall everything, which has fixed it. |
