Hi simondeo,
to the forum!
If you tap the bottom left hand side of the screen (the bit that gives you distance to next instruction), i.e. below the navigation "map" part of the screen, you should get a "sound volume" bar.
Is your volume set to 0%, i.e. is the slider on the left hand side?
Have you set the slider to 100%, i.e. to the right hand side?

Assuming volume is up and not muted (in preferences), have you tried going to "Change voice..." and seeing if you can hear anything when you press the "Test" button? |

Simondeo,
I have the same problem on my Tom Tom Go Classic. Did you solve this problem? If so, what did you do to get the sound back? |

What happens if you try to set up an audible warning for a POI? Do you hear the beeps/bells etc. when you 'test' them? |
