Has anyone heard any new about the next release of the software - Dave are you and the team Beta testing? - I guess we'll get this years new maps - I wonder if it will include details of the new Birmingham M6 Toll road, as it nearly built and will be open early next year.
I only ask because I've noticed that we've had not TTN2 updates for 3 or 4 months now, as they seem to be focusing on sorting the yaks out wih their software. |

We could tell you, but we would have to shoot you if we did. 8O
Bearing in mind that TTN2 only hit the stores in April this year, and most applications have a 10-12 month lifespan before they bring out a new version, I would be looking at around 10-12 months on from the current release. That doesn't stop TomTom or others coming out with interim releases though.
Usually if companies haven't released any updates, it usually means they're hard at work. |

I don't know about new releases - with TomTom it's 10-12 month delay answering questions. (I can only assume since I still haven't had a response to an email I sent in May)
Seriously - I would rather TomTom didn't do a v3 with a host of new features until they got the current platform running as a stable system. I am very tired of rebooting my iPAQ several times during a journey. |
