Hello all
I currently run TTN3 on my Toshiba E330, but am keen to upgrade to TTN5.
However, the Tomtom website appears to say that the new version is not supported on the E330.
Has anyone tried this combination and know whether it does work? Failing that, can anyone recommend a *budget* PDA I could buy that will work with the new Tom Tom version.
Appreciate your help,
Jed, |

If TTN3 works fine on it then TTN5 will run as well. Your GPS receiver needs to be set to NMEA mode. _________________ Lutz

Jed
Let us know how you get on. I too am considering 'upgrading' but so far people's remarks about TTN5 have put me off.
I only really want access to some more up to date maps. _________________ Howard

Thanks lbendlin,
I will probably give the upgrade a try then. One slight concern though - does TTN5 require more disk space / memory than TTN3? I am conscious that TTN3 only just fits onto my E330.
Thanks again

Thanks for your help.
I have a 512mb SD card - do you reckon this would be sufficient? |

ha funny. There's no such thing as a sufficiently sized storage card...
Anyhow, 512 MB should be a good start if you don't plan to use the complete Europe map . _________________ Lutz

HowardR - thought you might like to know that I have tried TTN5 on the Tosh E330, and it all seems to work fine (actually it appears to work better than TTN3).
Regards
