I have a Holux 213 Wired USB GPS. I really want to use it with my XDA Mini S. The PDA only has a mini usb connector, so is it possible to get some kind of cable to go from the PS/2 connector of the GPS to the mini USB in the PDA or will I have to buy a bluetooth GPS? |

Have a chat with Holux UK. They have a selection of cables and I believe that they can also make to order. _________________ John

I emailed them a few days ago, but haven't yet received a response. The HTC Wizard only has a mini USB connector, so I thought there might be some kind of connector already made. |

Hi Echilon,
Your PDA (HTC Magician / XDA Mini S) does not support a physical serial connection to work with your Wired GPS (GR-213), it can only support Serial over Bluetooth.
However, there is a way around this by using a Bluetooth Adapter Cable manufactured by Holux UK, otherwise you will need to buy a Bluetooth GPS, ie GPSlim 236.
Good Luck! |
