Hello All,
Wondering if one of you guys could help me...
I have upgraded my TomTom Go300 to the latest software level (5.420) today. However, in doing so, my Gatso, Specs and Mobile voice warnings have been defaulted to the standard "Bells and Cows" sounds in the POI menu.
Does anyone know which files i would need to copy across from my pre-upgrade back-up to bring them back to life?
Many thanks in advance,
Lilo. |

You cannot just copy the files across from a previous version you will need to download the version specific to the software load you are using - where did you get the previous files from ? - I only ask as there are more than one places to direct you to in order that you get the correct ones you need - Mike |

The File you need is the data.chk File which is in the Root of the SD Card.
But, ... and there's always a but, ... you can't use your old voice warning file.
The File you need is http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/reviews/tomtom-go-poi/5643_new.data.chk which is specifically for V5.420.
You will have to then Copy/Paste this where the current File is, as you had to with your older version.
You will also have to set up all your Warn When Near settings again. _________________ Richard
