|
|
I have a BT77 GPS reciever (TomTom one was stolen) which has been working fine for about a year. I am running TTN 5.
It is now suddenly putting my posistion about 100 yds out (next road, ahead, in field, anywhere depending on the direction I am traveling) which is making TT unusable.
I belive my son may have changed some settings on it via my laptop and bluetooth. I have had a look on the programe that came with the BT receiver, but I cannot work out what he has done, or how to reset anything.
Please can anyone help me
Cheers, Keith |

I should have added that I have tried the receiver on 2 different TT devices with the same result, so it is a problem with the BT77 receiver |

I have had this problem in the past. You have almost certainly got the wrong Lat/Lon datum set. You probably need to set WGS84. |

Cheers Tony, you were right.
The little blighter (I had a few other names for him as well) had changed it.
Thanks for the advice,

I use the disk that came with my BT receiver. I launch the BT on my PC and then run the program. It brings up all the details of the satellites on a display similar to the TT display.
I have Autoroute on my laptop which is why I connected in the first place. Autoroute doesn't give you a very good display as to satellite reception.
