Hi
Can anyone tell me how and what i have to do to connect a medion pocket pc which im thinking of buying from a friend, to the internet and the cost. On my desktop im with tiscali broadband |

If you synchronise the device with the PC then you can use the same connection as the PC. This means that when the PPC is connected to the PC it can use the broadband connection, but due to processor speed it will still be slowish. |

Whislt the PDA is standalone then you will have to connect directly to the internet. Options are to connect to a mobile phone that can dial up an ISP or maybe to use a wifi adaptor and a wifi hub if one is available. Essentially you have to connect your device in a similar way to how you connect your PC with the added complication of not actually using a long cable. On my PDA I have used a wifi adaptor via the SD card slot and then connected to a local wifi network. As I also have bluetooth capability I could connect to my mobile and dial up to an ISP but I have yet to try this. I don't know enough about the medion ppc's to advise further. |
