Can anyone tell me when the new version is coming out. I e-mailed the company and they have not responded. I use my D2 all the time and I am interested in the new features D3 will offer beofre looking at other products like Tom Tom or Co-pilot.
Thanks!!! |

Well if you're looking for something now, you'll have a bit of a wait before you find out what the features are. You could wait, but you may be waiting a month or more. |

Would you recommend looking at the other products or waiting? |

It's entirely up to you. Most street navigation products are updated every 12 months, and we reviewed D2 back around Christmas 2002. |

I asked them a few months ago when I had a problem with PPC2003 - they said D3 would be out the last quarter of 2003, but would not allude to any new features.
I am sticking with D2 and will upgrade to D3 if I feel it necessary, if nothing else perhaps a single map will cover the country and one will be able to upload your own POI. |
