I travel all over the UK and have been adding my client locations to a POI category over the last six months. I have hundreds of them now, which makes it easy to drive from one to another. Unfortunately, my back-up copy of TT decided not to work today, but I can still 'see' all files on the SD memory card through Active Sync.
I would very much like to reformat this card so I can re back-up my original copy of TT, but I dont want to lose all my hard work.
Which file would my locations be under (I added them by GPS location)?
and...
Is there a way I can extract them as OV2 file and reinstall??

Are you running a legitimate version of TomTom?
Presumable you called your POI category "Clients" or something similar?
Have a look in the map folder of your storage card where you should see a POI called Clients.OV2, or what ever you called you category, with an .OV2 suffix.
