I am now having problems trying to get the gatso camera sounds to work on my Ipaq 4700 in tomtom 5.

Which voice file have you downloaded for the camera warnings, and also which version of TomTom are you running, the data.chk file that contains the warning voices is specific to the TT version number, also the data.chk is a differnet file to the dataxx.chk you were messing with earlier (xx being a number 01 through to 99)- Mike |

I have got tomtom version 5.100 for the ppc and i have downloaded 5160 as it says

You need to rename the file that you downloaded to data.chk, then go to file explorer on the PPC program files / Navigator and re-name the data.chk file to Old_data.chk (don't delete it as you can re-use it later to put it back to normal if you want to) then copy the new data.chk in to the programs/ navigator folder, once done soft reset the PDA and configure the warn when near POI for each of the cameras within TomTom (use the test button to hear the warnings as they will still have the Bell Cow etc type names) - Mike |
