|
|
Just got a £99.99 i3 - have added the speed camera POI and the Hilton Hotel POI's - however I would like to remove some of the Hilton POI's so the menu is less cluttered but there does not seem to be a delete option
Is there any way to do this?
In future I will edit the POI files so I only load the points I want. |

You need to edit the csv file remving the items you don't want and then reload all your POI files (hilton and others) |

Am I right in thinking then that if I reload the edited Hilton POI file, I will lose the speed camera database that is on there already?
I shhould therefore keep all the POI files I already have loaded in a folder, just add to these and point the POI loader at this folder every time I want to update POI's so they are all loaded on each time?
Thanks |

Answer to both your points above - YES.
When you load the poi's via PoiLoader it removes ALL previous poi's, so if you had 5 different poi's loaded before then thought I will add another, PoiLoader would load the new one but delete the existing 5. You need to put ALL the poi's in one folder then upload them. |

Thanks, I've got it sorted now, have edited the 2 poi files so I only load the ones I want. Thanks
I also bought an i3 for my father-in-law and he's been on a trip with it today and is delighted with it. |
