lastnight some1 broke into my car, smashed the passanger side and managed to crack my fron wind screen aswel, not to happy, stole my
-camera
-lights
-some card
-and most importantly is my new MIO A201 IN CAR CHARGER that i got not even a week ago:(
I can't find a replacement on the mio site, and the mio 168 does not include a201 in the compatable list, can any1 please kindly, tell me the power output of a 168 and a mio a201,

yes the mount was on my wind sheild, but i knew something will happen just not so soon, had it in for 2 days the mount...i've been looking for a air vent mount, can't find one to fit, thats why, also, i thought it would be safe as i parked outside my own home.....thanks |

hi, i got my new in car charger this morning....so quick....can anyone check their original mio in car charger and tell me whether thhe one i brought works please? it has
output dc 5.5 +_ 5%
min: 150mA
max: 1000mA

Info from an original Mio A201 charger is as followed:
ATPI-68hT0501-C1.0
Input:10-30V ----1.3A MAX
Output : 5V----1A

thanks for the orginal charger rating...there 0.5v more in the one i got? will it over charge my mio????   ...any electricians here? |

To be honest its hard to say as it will depened on the tolerance of the MIO.
I would think its unlikely to cause a problem. Can you find the specification anywhere of the Input voltage to the Mio?
Is it a USB connector? does the mio also connect to USB on a PC to charge? _________________ Wife 3 kids.... unversity fees...:-(
oh... and a few PC's and gadgets ;-) |

the input volage is 12v which is the car battery voltage.....it is a usb connector i think....the mio connects to usb on pc |
