|
|
Im having trouble installing tt5 on my new ppc 6700 with WM5.
The application crashes when I try installing TT 5.0 or TT5.21
I belive it has an issue with Activesync 4
I installed it well to my WM2003 based ppc but WM5 has a problem even with 5.21 I exprienced the same problem with Ipaq RX3700
Any solutions..
I love tomtom please help me have it back... _________________ Tomtom Nav 6.0 USA, Canada & Europe Map

Helping a friend to install TTN5 via ActiveSync 4.1 - the installation program bombs after the stage where it tells you which programs will be installed.
He's just upgraded his O2 XDAII to a O2 XDA Mini. I believe (maybe wrong) that the Mini needs ActiveSync 4.
Also, he upgraded from TTN3 to 5 before Christmas (onto his old XDA2). His original TTN3 installation was about a year ago - will there be any activation problems on his new XDA2 Mini?
Apparently now he is using his new XDA Mini as his phone, TTN3 won't work in his old XDA2 (apparently because the SIM card is no longer there) so he can't use TTN at all at the moment
Any assistance very gratefully received.

..I haven't figured out how to install the voice files this way. I see there is a voices folder - not sure what to do next?
Also, the new activation code failed because of the hardware change. But I have noted the TomTom advice on sorting this out and have contacted them as directed.

On the application CD will be a voices folder, open that and find the voice you want UKF is Jane voice (I think from memory) copy and paste this to the SD card the on the phone run the file (like the CAB installers you have used) this will install the voice, but it might deposit the files in my documents (data06.chk etc) they can stay there and it will work or you can drag them back to the SD voices folder if you want.
As for activation you will need a new code from tomtom to activate as the old code is locked to the previous device, try the web site to get one online www.ttcode.com - assuming you are within the license terms for product activation - Mike |
