hi,
i've a aldi bought medion gps.
configuration says it is a
medion mdpna 200s / md95900.
with Medion Navigator 4.75 9april 19 2005)
it came with eire and UK maps.
i have access to 3.x with european maps
and navigon 5.1 DVD with european maps
i'm happy enought with the 4.75 and i see complaints with the 5.x
what i'm really looking for is european maps (nordic especially).
my questions are
- will the 5.1 install on the mdpna 200s ?
- is it a worth while upgrade ?
- is there a simple location to get 4.x maps (again nordic wanted) ?

Your PNA200s/95900 is probably one of the few PDA/PNAs that will take the Medion 5.1 software. Most others are not compatible. Certainly the 5.1 interface is nice, probably nicer than 4.xx And it is compatible with poi warner. Remember that 5.0 is not compatible with poi warner. |

i got 5.1a medion nav and it works.
nothing (navigon 5.1) else did.
the maps need to be updated as the 5.1 doesn;t read the 4.75s maps.
from quick look at some sites i know. i don't belive the irish one is as good as the one supplied the 4.75.
