mates just got tom tom one after using my classic and he hates it its crap in what you my think well with my classic you can put the city in then any road in that city or area and it finds it,with the new one and the 300/500/700 you have to no the exact area the roads in whats the point in that if you dont no were you are,anyway its tacking him 10mins were it takes my seconds,what he wants to no can he down grade can he put a classic card in a tt one,ive had a go and its so hard to use to my classic[/b] |

I don't understand what the problem is. My sister-in-law lives on a small road in SE London. With my TT1 if I select 'London' as the city and then the name of the street, it finds it without any problem at all. How do you mean "you have to (k)no(w) the exact area the road's in". You can't get much more vague than 'London' when searching for a residential road.

No.
Why doesn't he just ask for the Postcode.
The 1 and th GO use the same Mapping Software and the same Maps, so there should be very little difference in finding an address. _________________ Richard
