I have just upgraded hardware and software..now TT5 on an Orange SPV M2000. I have two problems:
1. Checpoint flashes on and off when warning of approaching POI?
2. I cannot get Checkpoint to link to any button on the device

Hi, can someone please help - I know nothing about sat nav, but a friend called me in to sort his out. he's got an HP pda which was working fine with TT vers 3 and checkpoint. He upgraded to TT vers 5 and cannot get checkpoint to work. I've looked at it and the problem appears to be that the sycronisation option on the PDA is greyed out. The PDA is corrected correctly to the laptop and can access the internet etc etc - we just cant get the checkpoint software to synconise. Any ideas, please. |

You need the correct version of CheckPOInt for TT5, you will also need to up-grade TT v5 to v5.1
Have a look on the DownLoad page HERE |

Hi, Thanks for your reply - I checked and we were using the right version of TT (5.1) and checkpoint - in fact the pda had both vers 3 and 5 - we therefore removed version 3 and still could not get vers 5 working. Tried uninstalling that, and re-installing, but still no luck.
I think we might need a noddy guide to loading these - is there anyone who can please help. |

I have been having exactly the same trouble.
HP 2210 PDA
TomTom 5.2.10
CheckPoint 5.0.2.0
It is impossible to assign to any button.
Also when I start CheckPoint and tap Navigate it will not start TomTom. So I have to start TomTom and then enable CheckPoint from the main menu.
It rather looks as though this is down to bugs as we all seem to be having similar trouble. Perhaps we need to hope that someone from CheckPoint migh read this. |

Having just returned from a trip I have found that the SatNav needs to be locked on to a GPS signal, then the POI button will work.
Apologies to Check Point
Enjoy |
