|
|
I would be very grateful if anyone can help me. I have been a happy owner of a iCN 510 for some months and recently purchased some new units (iCN 520's) for work. I loaded the new software up on my laptop, which replaced the old smart ST v3 and set the new units up with speed cams and POI's for work. Whilst doing so, I updated my own speed cam database on my 510 and seem to have downloaded smart ST 2005 onto my 510, which now won't recognise the 2004 maps from the memory card.
I have tried uninstalling everything I can think of and re-loading smart ST v3 but all to no avail. I now have three icn 520's that work fine but my 510 still can't read it's own original maps and I can't seem to re-install the original v3 software as it says it is not registered to the hardware.
Everything is original software (no dodgy copies) though I can't seem to find map keys or product registration codes anywhere (where are they?) and now I can't seem to sort out my 510 - any advice would be gratefully appreciated. |

Worked a treat. Many thanks for the help.
For anyone interested, the trick was to completely remove smart st from the Navman, then from the pc. Then re-load to the pc and then to the Navman, using the tools tab to find the original registration information.
All up and running again now but will have to re-load all of my POI's and speed cams again! |
