|
|
Just bought a rider but seems to have a problem when connecting my mobile over blue tooth.
The phone rings and I get the choice to answer phone but I cant hear or speak. The handset registers as being answered but no sound. Also notice I loose all sound even to the blue tooth headset straight after trying to test the phone. The only way to restore sound to headset is to kill phone blue tooth connection and sometimes headset connection and start again.
recently updated to latest version of software.
Seems slightly better. Connection is still very unstable. Seems to answer 1 in 5 times and transfer sound.
BT connection for headset and phone continuously get dropped even when u leave all 3 components on the kitchen table switched on?
Come back 5 mins later and rider is showing one or both BT items with '?' as if no longer connected.
To me this indicates a problem not only with phone compatibility but with headset too?? or the unit / software maybe faulty ?
I have a Sony Ericcson P910i and also tried it with friends Nokia etc... Same prob.
ps there is no charge indicator or battery status, how can i check my battery and know when it is fully charged. ??
PS DONT WIRE IT TO THE BATTERY AS MANUAL SUGGEST.WIRE IT TO IGNITION JUST LIKE YOU WOULD GRIP WARMERS ETC.
HELP PLEASE
Anyone wanna buy a rider |

On the tomtom site there is a phone compatability listing .I just checked it and no mention of P910, might be worth checking with them. I just realised I was sending you to support at tomtom perhaps one of the more notorious support sites . _________________ Asus Zenfone 2 twin sim, Garmin Zumo 550, 660 and pocketgps speed camera database

Perhaps one of the others who have used the Rider will be able to help but I do know from TTN3 and TTN5 that Tomtoms bluetooth installation is at times peculiar.
Sorry I cant help more , you could always try their support line and they should be adding more compatable phones all the time _________________ Asus Zenfone 2 twin sim, Garmin Zumo 550, 660 and pocketgps speed camera database
