They are the same software but OnCourse say it is compatible with WM5 while Navigon are not officialy supporting it yet - according to an e-mail I received last week.
I have Navigon MN5.1 running on a Dell Axim x51v. Have used it in the US on a 3000 mile road trip and just got back from a trip through Europe.
Works MUCH better than it did on a previous installation on an iPAQ 4700.
I think the ommision of an "Itinerary" view is a major flaw as well as the handling of "Block Roads".
It also throws up some strange routings but this appears to be a "feature" fo ALL these programs.
An example: I have two routes which have me join the M4 at Heathrow. If I'm going East, it takes me the most direct route to the junction. If I'm going West the route to the SAME junction is 4 miles longer!
I'd also hate to be travelling to Terminal 4 at Heathrow. It want's you to go round every round about in the area instead of taking a left at the first one.
Here in the UK I use it with POI-Warner and the fantastic Safety Camera databse from here. I may be wrong but MN5.1/Poi-Warner is the only PPC software that alerts you to "Safety Cameras" without having to be in "Navigation" mode. This feature alone makes it worthwhile.
I have Destinator and TomTom 5 but prefer MN5.1
I also have CP5 but can;t see me updating to CP6 on principal. |

I have no idea.
I'd suggest asking over at the OncourseNavigator forum. |
