tomtom 300 help needed

hi guys
have a problem hopefully help will be at hand on here.
first of all i dnt make a back up of the tomtom.now it doesnt work properly so is there away to restore everything back to when i first bought it. ive tryed reseting back to factory settings but this hasnt worked.can any1 help please.

you can download the software from www.TomTom.com but if you also destroyed your maps then you will have to reload them from your CD. If you don't have one, contact TomTom support for a replacement SD card.

I also have a problem with a dodgy SD card for a Go 300... I have a backup of the maps so I just need the software to reinstall... can someone point me to where on the tomtom site this can be downloaded? I only seem to be able to find the updates...
