Hi all, Im new to this forum, and happy to have came across it :D
This question will probabily seem silly to most of you, but I would like a bit clarification to a point I read on another site about the TT Go 700.
I am at present learning about how to load the POI's to the internal hard drive, and I read that you are limited to the number of POI files that you can add to 29. If this is so, it makes buying the TT Go 700 a bit of a waste. especially as the Speed Cams can take a few differnt files.
Can some one with more experience please advise |

The newest program version 5.420 will again allow for 39 POI categories. _________________ Lutz

Thanks for your advice lbendlin.
When I bought the unit I had no experience of Tom Tom's before (a bit on Garmin) and to come across a post that claimed a 29 catagory limit was a unexpected shock l 8O .
Well at least, while your post confirmed a limit it also gave hope at the end as I have ver 5.420 installed, the first thing I checked for , any OS updates. Thanks again
PS were do you find out the changes / improvements to each OS update

TT are often a little short on information on what they have included in each upgrade. _________________ Richard

Thanks Oldboy, I started to think I must be going daft, while I looked and looked I could not find any list of specific version changes . Still as I mentioned TT is new to me and hopefully I will pick up the points quickly. Still a bit upset that there is a limit to the number of user POI's 8O but I'll get over it Thanks |

Thousands. It's the number of categories which is important, not the number of POI's. |

there are less POIs than say a streetpilot, but I think predictive text for enterting destinations is easier with the tt 700...wouldn't you agree? |
