when I plugged it into the fag lighter. I noticed that the led light had changed from red to orange. Fuse ok, not blown. Works ok on batteries, but plug in the power lead and it's the black screen of no directions in the middle of nowhere
Any idea's before it goes back to PC World tomorrow? |

Have you tried plugging the USB cable for the PC in and connecting it to an active USB socket? Does the device then work, and give you the countdown timer when you remove the USb lead?
If that works then it sounds like the car power lead has failed and isn't producing enough volts or current to run the unit, but is managing enough volts to make the i3 think it has external power.
Does it give you the 30 second countdown when you remove the car power lead?
If so, then I think a replacement power lead should fix it. _________________ --
