The POI getter on the front page is compatible with tomtom navigator
5.10 and 5.20
So where is and when will we (mere users) be able to get it? _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------

from the story:
Which versions of TomTom can I use POI Capture with?
POICapture was written using the TomTom 5 SDK (Software Developer’s Kit). Therefore you must use POICapture only with a version of TomTom that supports applications written with the TomTom SDK.
The following are known to work:
TomTom Navigator: 5.10 and 5.20
TomTom GO: 5.202
looks pretty clear! but if not apologies....................
Did Lady from tomtom mention anything about updates for WM5 etc at the weekend? _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------

I have the latest universal TomTom SD with Navigator 5 on it, but I could not find the version number on the card.. I used it during the Big Meet on Darren's O2 PDA which means it might have upgraded the application. Perhaps Darren will be able to tell what the current version number is. The maps are 6.05 :-). |

5.20 has actually been replaced with 5.21 now, but I don't think it's actually available yet. It is for Pocket PC platform. |

5.20 was released (and very very quickly replaced with 5.21) for SDK users. Perhaps the changes are only relevant for SDK users. I've got it (as I'm an SDK user) but only installed it today and haven't had a chance to play with it yet.
If there's anything significant I'll let you know. |
