Hi,being new to all this im having a few probs.
Downloaded splash from gomo and followed instructions elsewhere but still lost splash on ttg300.Ive checked size is correct,320x240,rotated 90 degs clockwise,renamed several times,eg splash.bmp,spash1.bmp.and just splash ! But still no splash at all,but is showing in file when i connect to pc.

dsmal was having the same problem until a few re-boots here at the bottom of the page. |

I've changed my splash screen a few times - still not entrely happy with it
It seems fairly random as to whether it works with or without having to do a Reset.
It always works in the end though! |

Have you checked that it's a 24-bit .bmp file too?
You can check whether it is in your paint package, or if you use WindowsXP you can open the picture in the default Picture and Fax Viewer, right click, properties, summary tab, bit depth. |

Hi,thanks for the reply.
Ive checked that its 24 bit,correct size etc.Its the 'Dead End' splash from the gomo site.Ive renamed it splash.bmp and replaced the original.Carried out several resets,but still no splash!!
Am i doing something wrong? |

Hi darren.
Thanks for your reply,but as i was emailing you i realised file was named .bmp twice (splash.bmp.bmp) so i renamed it just splash,done two resets and at last it works!!
