Hi does it store/write all the user set preferences on the little card included or does it have some other system e.g. internal battery for storing them..
or do you have to keep 2 (charged) AA batteries in it all the time to keep the settings?
Thanks for your help
I havent got any batteries in it at the moment but it seems to save all my searches e.g. the last 20 places i have travelled to and 'my home'
Ive only got it yesterday so i cant remember if it keeps every little user preset u change it to??? |

Interesting. I noticed that when I removed the memory card and turned on to see what would happen, after I'd re-inserted it as requested the current location had reset to somewhere near Buckingham Palace (like the middle of Green Park I think). It wasn't until I allowed it to reacquire the satellites that it would start up at my current location.
Maybe mine was previously owned by the Queen. |

More likely owned by her driver, she doesn't drive herself.
