Hello,
This is the same sort of thing as having the incorrect speed alerts (in another thread).
The settings option on the i3 (for mile/hr or km/hr) only affect the way in which speed is measured and displayed by the unit.
There is an option when you download the POI's using the POI loader to specify what units are being used.
If you get them both different (i.e. set the i3 menu setting to mile/hr) and then the POI download setting to km/hr things go wrong i.e. you get wrong speed alerts (19mph in a 30 mph limit). This is the conversion (1km = 5/8 mile) So...... 30 mph x 5/8 shows alerts incorrectly as 19 mph!!!
You need to make sure that both are the same.
If you download the POIs again, but change the setting in the POI loader, things will work OK.
Regards,
JonA |
