You fail to mention what unit for what you require the SmartST 2500 software / maps. For what it is worth, and if you can decipher Navman's system, then check out the Navman's European On-line shop. It show SmartST v3.5 as being available for iCN 500 unit (I suspect this is the same as SmartST 2005 software, as the inclusion of railway lines, "Home" option etc tends to give it away). For iCN 600 series and PiN it looks like that wait will continue.
Incidently, I am in Australia, and do purchase my maps from the European on-line store and have no problems at all.

Indeed, when European maps are loaded into SmartST2005, they show as V3.5. _________________ Tim
