Hi all, first post so please be kind.
Anyway I've been looking for a Sat Nav system for a while and when I saw this and read the reviews I couldn't believe how good it looked.
My questions is:
I am getting a brand new VW Golf next week and apparently it has heat insulated glass so I wanted to know if it would work without having to buy an external arial? Is there somebody out there using this system in a golf? I have looked on the web for any info and the best I can find is that it won't work on some VW models (this doesn't really tell me alot)
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers |

i have no experience re heat insulated glass only my 'quick clear front screen ' on my old mondeo which my gps worked.....i suggest contacting the various dealers that are selling the i3 and ask what their returns policy is...find one that will not quibble on a return and but it from there...or,buy the i3 and get an external antenna .... _________________ *************************** |

I can confirm that the i3 works in a MKV Golf behind the windscreen. The 2004 / 2005 model Golf has a rear screen that will block GPS signals, the 2006 does not. The front on all MKV Golfs will not block signals. |
