semaj..metroguide maps do not autoroute (except mg usa v4.01) so you wont get any navigation. city select maps are the only routable maps available......sounds like you have wiped off the original city select software of your card...unless you can get city select loaded on that card or an original replacement card you will not get any autorouting or navigation.....

Just been on the phone to Garmine looks like I made a boo boo.
When I uploaded the maps I wiped of the original.
Garmin say they cant help I have to buy new maps.
My advice dont use the i3 with mapsource unless you have the original software.

theres no problem using mapsource..in fact i loaded some poi's from it onto my i3..the only thing is to make sure you dont have the 'maps' box ticked when downloading to the i3...
