Camera announcement when not using navigation

used my Nokia 6680 & TomTom5 mobile for the first time yesterday and loved it. It is actually better than the built in one I have in my VW !!!

Anyway, is there any way I can have my 6680 announcing cameras etc, when I am actually not navigating, but still have the map on screen etc.

Does that make sense ???

Yes you can. In the Warn When Near Menu there is the option to untick the Only Warn When On A Route option.

hi

you will also need to clear any route you had been using for directions
it will the just display the road you are driving along
you can also get the other poi's such as post offces and the like to show as you drive along
