| When downloading the the new speed camera files there appears to be a new file names VAR can anyone tell me what this is? |

It's for the variable speed cameras. The ones I know about are on the gantries over the western stretch of the M25. The speed limit is changed by the controllers to suit traffic conditions. The camera trigger speed is changed to match.

There's a new bit of text hidden in the middle of the Read.me file which says:
"Gatso cameras that are subject to variable speed limits are in the file pocketgps_uk_gatso_var.*"
As far as I can see, there are 16 of these - 10 on the M25 and 6 on the M42 in the sections near Birmingham Airport.

The variables sneaked up on me. I had to decide which of my existing 27 PoIs I could do without.
If you have a 700, the PGPS speed sensitive and continental cameras take up 19 PoI categories. When you start adding some more foreign cameras there ain't room!!

| There's only a few locations in either the * or ? Gatso. Just copy them across into the other (eg *) and delete the ? category. |
