Hi,
On my 700 the view I get on the screen is a close up, low level view of the road with a large blue arrow, but just got in to my friends car and the view is a high level, looking down on the road below view, which allows you to see more of the road ahead.
So how do I change mine to get the same view??
Hope you understand what I'm tiring to say
many thanks
Lyngarth. |

You will also find that in both of the top corners is a + and - which allows you to zoom in or out even more or less :D |

While we are talking about he - + buttons is there a way to zoom out and keep it there, as when I try to do this after 5-10 seconds it zooms back in again.

I don't know to be honest was one of the things I couldn't quite work out Seems strange to allow you to zoom in or out but not to keep it there |

Hi
In map view, it automatically zooms in or out depending on the speed of the road or if approaching junctions or roundabouts to show more detail.
This is a really useful feature and hope TT does not change it.
Yes I agree that the zoom should hold, and obviously still go in or out at the zoom level set by the user.
If you want greater detail, or see other roads around, I normally go into "Brouse Map" center to my current location and then zoom in or out to the level I want. This also allows me to drag the map and has a lot of options if you click the blue cross/dot (next to "done")
