Same thing is happening to me. Trying to install upgrade from cd. Tried all the tricks mentioned here but I'm stuck on the flying pages.
Where is this zip file? Can only find the setup.exe on the cd. |

The upgrade is downloaded from TomTom's website. You won't find it on the CD. _________________ Richard

I'm trying to upgrade from TTN3 to TTN5. This zip file seems to be to upgrade from TTN5. The web site says I have to have TTN5 to use this file. |

My apologies. In that case it will be setup.exe on the CD you need.
Have you un-installed TTN3? I believe, I've read somewhere, that you need to do this first. _________________ Richard

Just adding this in, as it caught me out.
Have just done a clean new install of TT5 nav, and GB Plus map, got everything workng and activated so I went for the upgrade to 5,1 - nothing would hapen no file transfer to the PDA at all - I still had one of the installation CD's in the drive on the PC and the set-up from the zip folder, (or the un zipped one for that matter) was picking up the disk in preferance to the downloaded upgrade - easy take out CD and it went in first time! - Mike |

Border_Collie - Best of luck, it all worked fine for me just a minor niggle with the "Free" trial of traffic, but that could be down to there web site and weekend - make sure once you have it up and runing you get the vs5,1 upgrade from their web site - Mike |
