Right then, a little more info has now been given to me about my t/t and I'm not a happy bunnie.
As I said my tom tom was working fine then the next day it would not start, but i have just found out the night it stopped working, was also the night I WAS working.
So my nephew came over to see the wife (his mum) and was playing about with the tomtom and my computer. It turns out he tired to download and install the safety cameras via the usb lead. He got them onto the tomtom but could not work out how to use them, so not to get told off by me, he deleted the files he loaded.
Now the next day I can't use my tomtom, so I think he may of deleted some other files. If this is right is there a way of getting the files from some where and if so could I just overwrite all of them?? I can still see them via the usb and my computer.
If not back to Amazon it goes.
Cheers

mail me the file names you think have been deleted, or even the files you have and I will work out which ones are missing.
BTW have you checked your recycle bin? |

Good news I have got my tomtom up and running again :D It was down to my nephew and him deleteing some files, after an hour going through my R/bin, I found all the files he dumped and then reloaded them. I then downloading the latest software from from the tomtom web site and ran it, and all it now well.
Many thanks for all your help, and offers to send me the lost files, its good to know you guys are here when needed.
MANY THANKS
