And presumably you are using Navigate to .... > Postcode and not Address _________________ Richard

You should also have a Folder, Zip, at the same level as tomtom and Map Folders. This contains the Postcode file. _________________ Richard

You should have at least 3 folders on your SD card.

A folder called TOMTOM (can be empty)

Your Map Folder

A folder called Zip
In the zip folder there should be a file called Great_Britain
Check you have all that. |

OK, so you are selecting Navigate To POSTCODE not Navigate To Address? |

None taken cliffy.
I take it that when you have put the Postcode in, the displayed street is not the one you were expecting. This happens sometimes.
It means that the co-ordinates for that Postcode are closer to the displayed road, than the road it should be,
If this happens go to Browse Map and Find > Postcode and accept the TT choice, then move the cursor to the road you think it should be (it should be near by) and then Navigate Icon > Navigate There.
It sounds more long winded than it actually is. Believe me. _________________ Richard

I had this problem on an Acer N35
1st I had to install the Postcodes they ended up on my SD Card. They are in a Folder called Zip and contain a file called Great_Britain. I have since found out that I had to put the Zip folder that contains the Great_Britain file into the root of the My Documents Folder. Then it worked for full 7 Digit Postcdes. |
