|

I am trying to clear the "Navigate to" POI list without any success! I have deleted and recreated the map directory with no .ov2 files in there and now when I go to manage POI's, as expected the delete options are greyed out BUT the navigate to POI list is still as it was! I have removed TomTom completely from my PDA and re-installed and the list is still there! Where the heck is this list held?? I just want to start from a clear list so I can add some POI's I want/need. Help please!! _________________ Cheers,

I presume you mean to clear the recent destinations.
This file is a .cfg held within the Map folder
If GB then the file name is Great-Britain-Map.cfg
If you delete this file TTN will create a new one for you which will be blank.
You will lose all settings that you have previoulsy made.
So if you want (or need) to have a clean cfg file then load up TTN5 set all you want to set and then close out of TTN5. Copy the .cfg file to another place on your card and when you want to clear them again just copy over that file to the map folder and there you go.

Sorry no not recent destinations but the POI list! I have cleared everything I can think of as far as POI's are concerned and re-installed TT5 BUT when I go to 'Navigate to POI' I get a whole list of POI's which is what I am trying to get rid of! I want to start with an empty POI list so I can add POI's I want. Seems that TT5 can only handle 40 POI categories so I want to clear them all out and start again. _________________ Cheers,

There are a set of POIs built in to TTN5 and as far as I know they are held in poi.dat in the map folder. I am not sure if you can just delete that file. Try by changing the file name first and see if that works. If it does not then you are stuck with those POIs
