Medion 95900 europe maps

Can anyone help. I have a Medion MD 95900 which I bought from Aldi with UK map version 4.75.
I have the Europe maps version 4.4 which I believe are compatable. I bought a Kingston 512 SD card to load the europe maps for holiday but could not get them to load. Reading the forum I found out that Kingston were not compatable so I have borrowed a Nikon SD card.
I can now get to the page to select the country but when I select OK it states a restart is necessary please restart.
I have tried a soft reset but it keeps coming back with a restart required.
When I put the original Medion SD card back in and get the same promps a soft reset allows me to continue with the UK map supplied.

Hi There

I funnily enough am have the same problem, the only thing that I have found different at the moment and have not had time to try is, the disks that came with your MD95900 will have a file on it called "mnavce.cab" where if you had the installation disk for the ver 4 maps would have a bab file called "medion-navigator.cab" this may have some bearing on the problem.

what we need is more time for me to play around or one of our freinds out there to show us the light.
