when i was using navigator 3 i had the option to disable tom tom showing me a summary of a route i had planned. navigator 5 doesnt give me this option. after it has planned a route i have to click "done" on the screen before i can start following the route planned instead of just going straight into navigator mode. does anyone know of a way around this pls ? _________________ Mitac Mio 168

Click on Route instead of Done. That will bring up a list of options including a map view or a set of instructions. I use the map view, suitably zoomed, to instal waypoints (using itinerary planning)

but this is what im trying to avoid. after its planned my route i want it to go straight to navigator mode rather than showing my route first. i was able to to do this in navigator 3. apart from this im very happy with the upgraded software. _________________ Mitac Mio 168

Think the answer is no, reason being that most of us wanted a heads up summary to just confirm the place we thought we'd programmed in was where we were going!
You'll find that although the summary screen is still displayed until you press done, it will actually start navigating, so pressing done just moves you over to the nav screen.

it's another one of the TTN3 features that was removed "on customer request". Yeah right... It should at least time out after 20 seconds or so like it did in TTN3. The current implementation costs one more tap which is a step back in usability. _________________ Lutz
