I work on ships so I frequently am away for several weeks at a time. I find that when I get home the battery on my Navman is completely flat and I have to charge it in the car or with the main supply to bring it back to life.
Has anyone else noticed this, or do I have a duff battery? |

Do you use the switch at the back of the unit to disconnect the battery, or do you only turn it off using the keypad? If you only use the keypad, then charge is still being taken from the battery in a 'standby' mode.

| Last trip was just under a month. The Navman switch was set on off and it was working when I turned it back on. Thanks again for the tip. |
