Haicom: Multi Mode Foldable GPS receiver hi303mmf ... is it compatible with TomTom 2
I have an IPAQ 3870 with a PCMCIA Expansion jacket and a CF to PCMCIA Adapter - and a 256mb SD Card to store the maps on - is this set up sufficient for it & TomTom

It is compatible with TTNav yes. Your current equipment coupled with a CF Format GPS would be fine _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thats what I am running but with the CF+ sleeve. It works with TTN2 & Fugawi UK.
The only problem which is minor is that when you turn it off the on again is has disabled the GPS and you have to re enable it agian.

Are you running the latest TTNav Updates? I had a similar issue with my Emtac Jacket but the update before last cured that. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I'm running a very similar setup to that you propose, DavidM - and I'm delighted with it. Haicom HI-303MMF, iPAQ 3970, PC Card Expansion Pack Plus and Pretec PC Card / CompactFlash adapter.
I'm running TomTom Navigator 2.24 / GPS 2.06 on that setup, and have no problems with the GPS re-enabling automatically when I switch the power back on.
